It’s Saturday, so that means…
RANDOM COLLAGE TIME!

Sing with me now:
Making him tiny and watching him dwindle;
Seeing his fear as his passion is kindled;
Soft skin that tingles as it slowly shrinks;
These are a few of my favorite things.
Or…
Growing gigantic, becoming far taller;
Seeing my love and his pants look much smaller;
Watching the world from above as it shrinks;
These are a few of my favorite things.
But today I’m going with the first one.
Welkin – Small
This is beautiful. I love that single source of light and the darkness that surrounds and envelops the two of them together.
If it were up to me, right about when the picture was taken is just about right when the shrinking/growing should end.

Thank you trinket. I love the way the shadows frame their interaction. They made it very easy for me to imagine she was indeed shrinking him, the way her hand sets on his shoulder, lifting his ear lobe even in the original image.
And of course they made the image very easy to alter.

Brilliant. Great work there. The light works, they look like they are in the same space, the size difference is just about perfect. Very well done.

Hi Qunittt, and thank you!
The original photo composition was romantic to no end, so much that I edited it the day after I found it on the Internet.
The light, or shadow, or both, goes well with what I envision as the magic of what’s happening to him as described in the title of the collage.
There should be an ’80s song (not by Bruce Springsteen) about shrinking in the dark.
