I’ve always wanted to draw robots, but didn’t know how. The above is the logical progression to my thoughts about tiny robots built to improve the lives of the people (or taller robots) that purchase them. Sometimes the tiny robots aren’t robots at all, but small people hiding under metal to escape genocide. Sometimes they are more machines than men, but still able to perform all manner of biological functions.
The other factor that came into play and brought this drawing/story combination to life is March of Robots. I’ve not paid attention to it before, and I might not think of it again, but this year it was the excuse I needed to propel myself to draw the above. The related artwork I found was inspiring and helpful as reference. Alright… enough said. I’m off to edit the drawing and the following story.
